Hi Folks, There are a couple of options for £ but to find the one that works for you, try this ... this works on a PC - not sure if same options work on a Mac. Using MS-Word - if you use the menu option ... INSERT ... SYMBOL and then select the £ or ¼ or whatever, when you highlight the character you want but BEFORE you press the INSERT, look at the "Shortcut Key" and code above the Insert Button. Not all will work in other applications, but the majority of the basic ones do (with Alt and a number) - so much better seeing "£" than the "L" or "pound". <vbg> Hope that helps ..................
