Well Denise, Would that be James Devitt Died 1862.If it is all l know is that he and his brother William And mother Mary and father Patrick came to Australia in 1841.they came from Ireland . William is my line and thats all l have on James. or James in Williams line Born 1884 Died 1962 I have f\his brothers and sisters name mother and fathers but once again thats all cos its not my line.Sorry lam pretty boring. As to whether it is James 1862, I don't know, what hoping to find out what the clipping was in relation to my gg, but all I can tell you was he was married with wife and daughter, and died in China.
