I have just found a record of the sale of the Tarrawinggee Mill and also some land belonging in the 1870's to James Tinning in Carragarmungee "PROPERTY SALES Mr Geo. Phillipson Jun., sold be auction on Saturday last at the Commercial hotel , Wangaratta the T arrawingee flour mill, with cottage, grain store & lately in possession of Mr Alex. Clements. The attendance was considerable, and the property after some bidding was knocked down to Mr. John Smith, for the sum of £ 1200. The same auctioneer sold some 91 acres of land at Carragarmungee to Mr John Peppard jun. at £ 3.2 s. per acre" I didn't know it was at Carragarmungee. I have heard mention of it on the list but have no record of it so I thought I will have to do some research on that. I went to the trusty Google with very poor results. Could anyone help with some information about this property please Anne
