    3. Hello Sharon, Thank you for your interest and your reply. I had already used the Gazeteer to find : HONEYSUCKLE County: Moira and Delatite Other names: Violet Town VIOLET PONDS County: Delatite and Moira Other names: Honeysuckle Creek. I had discounted these as too far away from Chiltern where Mary Annette Roberts was buried on 11th August 1863. Christine Watson has also answered my query off list, with another Honeysuckle Creek in the area much closer to Chiltern and Indigo. Hello Tom I was browsing the AVNE mailing list (not a subscriber at this stage) & seen your query re Honeysuckle Creek. Honeysuckle Creek is south of Chiltern in the Mt Pilot Regional Park. It runs into Deep Creek which runs into the Black Dog Creek & it flows on into the Murray River. It is in the next valley across (towards Melbourne) from the Indigo Creek & valley. People did live along the Honeysuckle Creek in days gone by. I live in Chiltern & we have been brought up with stories that the area up the Honeysuckle is haunted. As for finding gold up there , I don't belive they did but I will check with my Uncle & find out what he remembers. Hope this is a help Christine Your quick reply is much appreciated, Regards from Tom Martin. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Ross" <sharon@useoz.com> To: <AUS-VIC-NE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 29, 2002 5:43 PM Subject: Re: [AVNE] "REUNION" .
