One hundred odd years ago, a local inventor solved a fueld crisis in Wang by making a machine that generated power for the Albion hotel - on fat! This wonder of a machine ran on fat and was the invention of Mr. Wilson the Wangaratta Plumber. He built a gasgenerator, installed it in the hotel in 1886. Albion's chandelier was lit by this gas.
