Trying to find contacts in Australia - or even Ireland - for the following Connolly people Connolly - Peter of Kilcarring and Johanna Fenlon of Curracruit had - Edward b July 14 1839 Micahel b May 17 1840 James born August 22 1841 Thomas born Nov 20 1842 Mary born July 11 1844 Catherine born April 19 1846 Peter born Oct 15 1848 John born circa 1850 The following people were recorded as having left Ireland but for where is doubtful apart from Michael and Thomas. Michael left Ireland Nov 10 1857 and settled in Beechworth Victoria where he became a partner in the firm of H.A. Crawford and Co - later Crawford and Connolly. Michael raised a family in Beechworth but died in 1880. Meanwhile his brother Thomas had arrived in Beechworth and after MIchael's death took over Michael's share. Michael had two children who survived to adulthood Edward Peter born 1868 died Melbouren 1941 and William John born 1864 who died 1899. We are looking for any descendants of these sons, Edward and William, and descendants of Michael and Thomas' siblings. WE have much information to share . regards Denise and Cecily
