Dear all, In some handwritten notes from Geoff Craig, he lists my James Wilberforce as being rated for 319 acres of land at what looks like Bruarong or Burarong or Bruraray. ?? Bruarong, 10km S of Yackandandah. Post Office opened as a Receiving Office 22/7/1909, upgraded to Post Office on 1/7/1927 was robbed 7/10/1936 and closed on 30/11/1965. Hi Carol, I'm looking at a map of the properties in the Bruarong area which is near me, but can find no mention of Wilberforce. Do you know WHEN he was there? I will check for you at Indigo Shire Yackandandah later in the day if you can give me an idea of the period. I'm at Osbornes Flat, near Yackandandah. Bruarong is roughly 10 kms from Yackandandah.
