Hi All I have a good copy of a photo of the Church of England Avenel Church Wardens including Reverend Wilcox and my ancestors Thomas Frederick Griffiths, Frederick Augustus Griffiths and Walter Griffiths. There are 6 other men in the photo and one small boy - don't know any other names. I don't know a date but would guess it is around late 1800's to very early 1900's. Hi Alison, I would deeply appreciate a copy of that photo as my grandmother and her family were all from Avenel. My great great (and I think another great) grandmother was the first white child to be born in Avenel. My grandfather is buried there. Maybe my grandmother may be able to identify some people.
