I am hoping someone can check it out for me please. Christiana MITCHELL (nee SIRL) died 29 April or May 1924 and buried at Bethanga. I have a photo of the grave but I can't see what the inscription is. It's a huge crypt with (from memory 6 or 8 people buried there). I looks a bit like a roman building with 4 pillars at each corner of the roof. However, the roof doesn't completely cover the base. Hello Jackie, I paid a visit to the Bethanga Cemetery today and got the details about Christiana Mitchell that you were looking for. The inscription on her grave says: In Loving Memory of Christiana Mitchell Died 29th May 1934 Aged 76 Years Peace Perfect Peace I took my digital camera along and got some photos as well, I uploaded them to my website.
