    3. I have 5 deaths all registered within 20 numbers of one another. I am trying to find where these men died (all from the same area in their homeland) by thinking of what may have happened in 1854. I am assuming that by the closeness of the registrations numbers they were together or at least in the same area. If the numbers were not so close I wouldn't worry. I may be wrong. But try I must. We had Eureka. We had mining accidents, We had Colonial Fever in Buckland in 1854. It was known as Buckland River/ Buckland Valley when gold was found there in late 1853. One of the deaths I know occurred there was not registered. But it has nothing to do with the other 4. The death occurred during the Fever, so this proves many may have died without any registration at all. I am hoping that not ALL deaths went unregistered. The 5 I have no place of death recorded. So I am hoping someone has a death of some in their tree/research who died there and they have found this place by having the death certificate itself. I am working thru the obvious places which have occurred during the timeframe of my research and Buckland is definitely up there. It's a long shot, but stranger things have happened. Denise
