Hello Listers, I am hoping that somebody on the list can help out with a couple of questions. We have a transcript of the death certificate of one of the branches on our tree and the transcript suggests that the man was born Lake Bormbert. A search of the Atlas and so on did not result in a satisfactory answer, and we suspect that it should be Lake Burrumbeet. Any ideas please? Also, in deciphering the hand-written Inquest report for a member of the family who drowned in the Murray River by misadventure, we are having trouble with the name of the Undertaker, or rather the firm. We have Mr ST ? Bowles (March, ? and Bowles). The deceased drowned August 1901 at Yarrawonga and we wondered if somebody may be able to help with the name of the firm of Undertakers at that time.
