Hi all, Elizabeth Luckett (a minor) married Robert Simon Scott at Goomalibee Station near Benalla in December 1853. This marriage was a marriage by licence. What is confusing me is that the marriage certificate shows the that the person who gave consent for the marriage was a Daniel BOYD whose signature was by his mark. Now as far as I am aware, Daniel BOYD was not related to Elizabeth LUCKETT in any way shape or form and her mother lived in Melbourne with Elizabeth's 3 sisters.
