Elizabeth: Buried at Roman Catholic section no1, plot 132N. However there does not appear to be an headstone. I. Mary Theresa PHILLIPS, b. 1887 in Beechworth, Vic. She married John William SULLIVAN, married 1905, b. 1887 in Beechworth, Vic, d. 1959 in Hughesdale, Vic. II. Joseph Walker PHILLIPS, b. 1888 in Wangaratta, Vic, d. 20 May 1954 in Yarrawonga, Vic, buried: 21 May 1954 in Yarrawonga Cemetery, Vic. He died from a stroke. He married Alice Vera Maud HILET, married 1910, b. about 1890 in Goorambat, (daughter of James HILET and Maria BYE) d. 16 Jul 1979. Alice: Her death notice (The Sun, Wed July18,1979, p69) indicated that she had 27 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. III. James Robert PHILLIPS, b. 1890 in Wangaratta, Vic, d. 1939 in Prahran, Vic, buried: 30 May 1939 in Fawkner Cemetery, Vic. He is buried in the Roman Catholic area- Compartment R, Grave 3959 with a Violet Lyons, who was buried 9/8/1976, aged 88. He married Violet GARTH, married 1911 in Melbourne, Vic, b. 1888 in Hobart, Tasmania, (daughter of Frank Norris GARTH and Mary Ann DIXON) d. 1976 in Melbourne, Vic. IV. John Thomas PHILLIPS, b. 1894 in Wangaratta, Vic. V. Harry Edward PHILLIPS, b. 1897 in Wangaratta, Vic, d. 20 Mar 1955 in Fitzroy, Vic, buried: in Yarrawonga Cemetery, Vic. Birth 10 March 1896 from service records. Enlisted in Yarrawonga and his next of kin was Joseph Phillips (possibly his brother). His service number was V372238.
