I am trying to locate the descendants of David Edward Brown who lived most of his life in Whorouly as a labourer. He had been born to Robert Brown and Mary Walker in Beechworth in 1869. He married Rose Hannah BARKER, nee McWATERS, in 1912. She was a widow and at 43 years this was his first marriage. They had three daughters but not long after delivering the last child in 1919, both Rose and the baby (May) died. They are both buried in the Myrtleford Cemetery. Forty years later (1959) David died of pneumonia in Wangaratta Hospital and was buried in Myrtleford Cemetery. His first daughter was Mary Josephine, born in 1913 in Whorouly. I have found a possible marriage to John Maurice HALL, who died on 10th May 1970 in Wangaratta. He had been residing at 137 Vincent Rd, Wangaratta. His headstone indicates that he had two children Rosemary and John. His second daughter Alice Jean married Harry William PARSLOW in 1939 and they both died in 1967 in Poowong (Gippsland).
