But in all practical terms it flows evenly in both NSW and Vic. And because it rises here Vic has the longest stretch of it! A bit of trivia, the Murray and the Tambo (a wholy owned Vic river!!) rise only a short distance apart in the Great Dividing Range but flow down opposite sides of the mountains.
