Hi Bruce The Tea Garden Creek is on the Markwood side of Pioneer Bridges (Ovens River) rather than in the township of Everton. I found a mention of a flour mill being built on the Tea Garden Creek at the site of the current township of Markwood. So perhaps the hotel was in that area. The name is familiar to Mum so she is going to see if she can track it down in some references she has. Stay tuned .... regards Dianne
