Hi Anne, There are references to Hurdle Flat in Ros Shennan"s book," Silver Threads and Golden Needles",do not really know where it was probably around where the Collins orchards are, there may have been a creek too, will try to find my copy of Mc Kenzies book,or some of Geoff Craig"s stories.
