THOMAS HUNTER was, on the 23rd ultimo, at Reid's Creek, Beechworth, robbed of a cheque for £200 on the Bank of New York, by an American black, who is about 5 feet 11 inches in height, stout make, and short curly hair, a scar from the second point of the thumb left hand across the palm, received in America, in 1849, in fighting; had on when last seen a pair of black trousers, blue body shirt, and a red one outside, with California hat. MR. HUNTER offers £50 reward upon conviction of the offender. ERRATUMVide Crime. Report, 2nd instant.
