Testing - I may have been automatically unsubbed due to being sent one large email from someone unconnected to any mailing lists - it came through about 20 times! I deleted it from the mail box on line, but then it came through another umpteen times. Four of them was over the limit on my mail inbox so all else would bounce - I should have about 100 emails right now and only have a couple other than this repeated ad infinitum large email! If this does not appear then I will have to re-sub. Dawn
Hello listers, There is a much easier and quicker way to see if one is still subbed to any of the Rootsweb lists. Go to http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ enter your email address, tick the "To which lists am I subscribed?", and click the box at the bottom of the page. Rootsweb then email you a list of all the lists you are subbed to. If you can't remember the URL, there is a link to the Passwords page at the top of nearly all rootsweb.com webpages. Cheers Peter List admin
Thanks Peter Actually I did that. I assumed that, as the unsubbing would be done in the last couple of hours most likely, I would still appear as subbed on the rootsweb site, at lest for a few days. Perhaps it is instantaneous?
