The place recorded is "Birthplace". i.e. of Mary Ann Edhouse . If you search for the reverse, that is, Peter Clare married Mary Ann Edhouse, you find the place is listed as Alburry (sic). No Victorian marriage indexes give the actual place of marriage. All you can tell is it did occur somewhere in Victoria!
