The child born in 1883 never married but I do have her death certificate and it states place of birth as Bethanga Vic., I'm still waiting for the marriage and death certificates for the other child born 1886, but I'm sure that will also state Bethanga Vic as being the place of birth. On the 1883 certificate all places of birth are listed as Bethanga, shire of Towong, county of Benambra, except one where the place of birth is Talgarno. The 1886 Schedule has all births listed as being Bethanga. Thanks to you and Ian Foster, I now have a far better idea of where this family lived in those early years.
