    1. [AVNE] Terry/Hunt certificates

    3. I like your certificates, they are so descriptive. Having helped with fencing as child, I can just picture the poor guy struggling to lift a large strainer post into position and dropping down dead with the effort. Wooden fence posts are supposed to go three feet (90 cms) in the ground so a post was a minimum of 7 foot (2.1 meters)long. A good strainer posts could be anything up to 2 ft [60cms] in diameter. You dug the holes, if you could, only just bigger than the post so the posts were stable. [Particually important for the strainer posts] You then had to get the post up upright so it would drop in the hole. John TERRY's death certificate > The cause of death is a bit of a mystery as well, it looks like it > reads Disease of the heart produced by exertion at a fence- Death > quiet sudden - No medical attendant at the death" . The marriage certificate is also so descriptive. You are so lucky to have a marriage cert that tells you so much about the person and what he thought about him self. > Then 5 months later his wife marries William Henry Frederick HUNT, in > the Profession column it says what looks like "Publican & Farmer in > England now A shepherd".
