Hello Ronda and Anne, Thanks Ronda for the information and thanks Anne for the interesting research,a little more knowledge of those forgotten ones who were part of my family connections.Would Hannah have been a sister of John Brewer, family writings tell of him bringing his two brothers out from Cornwall , settling William at Wooragee,and Arthur at Leneva, but nothing regarding a sister.According to info that I have John Brewer was born in Cornwall in1832 and married Charlotte Warren in Malvern, ( Melbourne) in 1854 having arrived in Australia in 1849. My Great Grandfather George Edwin French was born 6/3 / 1829 at Penzance ,and married Jane Warren born 4 /5 / 1829 at Madron Cornwall on 15/ 5 / 1852. Hannah would have been born about 1836, sister to John?. Ronda regarding Blewett/ Paull families are they the ones I have known around Yackandandah for many ,many years?. Lake Harvey? did know where that was once, somewhere around Yackandandah.I have a bit of Brewer history if you are interested including a couple of letters from Cousin Will White son of Charlotte, we kept in touch some years ago, unfortunately I think that he too is no longer with us. Anne re the "Boss" unfortunately I have nothing to help you with date, etc,was always going to get it from my friend, I did ring her once for a bit of a yarn ,she said she would send me a copy but what arrived was the story of the Faithfull massacre. I do not know the name of the Penzig book either,I had a free read of it in a book shop in Albury, seem to remember that the lady was chopped up with a tomahawk about a year later.
