In the 1800's these were mostly literary journals but did contain some photos. These are part of the ANSI/ISO standards (e.g. ISO-8859-1) and will work in emails if both sender and receiver are set up correctly. Hi all - to cut the thread, which we have acknowledged as almost OT - Alt + 128 up to Alt + 168 is the range of characters associated with most communication styles - language accents, abbreviations (degrees). I put these into a Word doc and keep it by my computer - that is the shortcut for me which works best.
