I don't know Brown the back of the photo says W.J. Martin, he is in fire uniform and I have now read a cutting out of the scrap book which shows a Martin of Wangaratta F Brigade. Is he yours? If so, I'd love some particulars to help me with the identification I have the "duty" to do on all photos. Hello Jennifer, Thank you for this wonderful offer. If you have time...could you do a check of the Seymour newspaper/s (there may have been two at this time, not sure) for death notice of RUBY McINTOSH who died around 7th December, 1907, please? I have a memorial card for her death but cannot locate her in the Seymour Cemetery and wondered if the paper mentions her death and/or where she was buried, or any other details. (Am too lousy to buy the certificate just now!!! (g) ) Thanks for your help. Regards, Margaret. > >I am going to the State Library this Friday 26th. >Anyone wanting look-ups please contact me. > _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com

Hi John Donnelly is one of mine. Have never been able to find record of his marriage however - to my ggrandmother (her second). All of their 5 children born in Eldorado. Her son my ggrandfather by her 1st marriage back in Ireland was Martin Cruise, a miner in Eldorado, with his brother Patrick Cruise Cheers Liz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Denise McMahon" <helendmc@powerup.com.au> To: <AUS-VIC-NE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 22, 2002 8:14 PM Subject: [AVNE] Naughty boys > 13th March 1869 - this night some of the boys went mad - a Saturday night spree at El Dorado involving > John Sullivan > George MOrris > Peter Egan > Henry Brown > William Young > Edmund O:Keefe > James Martin > Hugh McGuinnes > John Donnelly > were charged with assaulting and obstructing police. > > Guilty - Sullivan, Egan and Young > Fined - Sullivan and Egan £4 > Young £3 > > the rest found not guilty. > > > >
