    3. Dear Shane, There was a backto Grahamvale school in 1986. Abooklet was published including a couple of pages about the settlement after World War One. The school has since burnt down and been rebuilt There may still be a copy of the booklet at the school or some of the parents may have a copy. Similarly Shepparton East school has had more than one backto and booklets have been published. The Shepparton Library might have copies. My advice is for you to contact the schools and Shepp. Library. Happy hunting. Regards, Margaret Kennedy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shane L.J. 1. Irish Records
    2. Irene R
    3. Hi Listers I apologise for the cross-postings but this is just the information I wanted and perhaps some others do as well. I have recently bought a book called "Irish Records; sources for family and local history, by James G Ryan, Ph.D." It lists explanations of what can be expected from various types of records, then lists all Irish Cos by name. Under each Co. name it then lists all sorts of sources - Census and Substitutes, by year, Church records by parish, Commercial and Social directories, Family Histories, Gravestone Inscriptions, newspapers, Wills and Administrations, Miscellaneous Sources and, in some cases, Research Sources and Services and web site names, as well as maps of each county. Please note it does not include individual names etc but it does tell you either where to find them, or the appropriate holdings nos. If anyone would like a lookup from this book, please let me know Irene R Rees/Dowsett Family Page http://tribalpages.com/tribes/Brent44

    3. Denise, The old O & M facade is indeed in Church Street and is in between Finch & Last Street as you go down Church Street from Ford Street. Cheers Anne -----Original Message----- From: Denise [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, 12 June 2005 7:13 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [AVNE] Ovens District Hospital Does anyone remember the position of the old facade of the hospital in Beechworth. I know it is in Church Street but what are the names of the side streets? I'm hoping a local will be able to answer this. It is relevant to my research and I may have to dig further if the answer is as I suspect. Denise

    1. BOND - Benalla
    2. Denise
    3. Does anyone know the family BOND of Benalla. I don't have much at all to go on except John BOND married Martha Elizabeth BEDGGOOD in 1854. Martha died in Benalla in 1881 aged 45. No idea what happened to John - I can't isolate him in the BDMs. A connection is possible thru the BEDGGOOD family - my husband's line was BIDGOOD sometimes seen as BEDGGOOD regards Denise

    2. Cheryl
    3. Hi all, My great grandmother was Ethel May FELTWELL.b 1886. Maindample. Her parents were Elizabeth Ann CHAPMAN and William FELTWELL m 1884. Other children were William, Edith, Alice, Annie, James and Evelyn. They were born around the Mansfield, Maindample area. The family must have moved to Mooroopna as this is where Elizabeth and William are buried. Ethel was an unmarried mother when she married James William SMITH (parents unknown) in 1909. James William Smith was lost at sea on the SS Waratah in 1910. Does anyone have any more information regarding this family?
