    3. Hello Listers, I am hoping that somebody on the list can help out with a couple of questions. We have a transcript of the death certificate of one of the branches on our tree and the transcript suggests that the man was born Lake Bormbert. A search of the Atlas and so on did not result in a satisfactory answer, and we suspect that it should be Lake Burrumbeet. Any ideas please? Also, in deciphering the hand-written Inquest report for a member of the family who drowned in the Murray River by misadventure, we are having trouble with the name of the Undertaker, or rather the firm. We have Mr ST ? Bowles (March, ? and Bowles). The deceased drowned August 1901 at Yarrawonga and we wondered if somebody may be able to help with the name of the firm of Undertakers at that time. 3. Dear Listers First of all thanks to all of you who have been patient with my ongoing search for John Rielly and family, and the encouragement not to give up. Well, just as I felt I couldn't go anywhere else, I received an e-mail from another great granddaughter of John and Alice. I have a lot of records, but she has some oral history-I think we'll make a team! Neither of us can "crack" John, but Alice probably lived on a farm with her son Joseph, as apparently she used to walk long distances across paddocks to attend church. We know Joseph had a farm somehwere in the area, and on his brother's death certicficate, Joseph is registered as living in Longwood in 1904. Can any one tell me if there was a Catholic Church in Longwood between 1904-1924? If not, what would have been the closest church? Also, is there any way to access land records through the internet? Apologies if I haven't done my homework here ;-0 TIA, Merryl San Diego
