    3. I've had a look Wendy. I can't see the name Milne onSydney Road - my maps go just past the cemetery turn off, so perhaps it was further on. Then again, he may not have owned it outright and the person who purchased from him and paid for it would have his name on the maps. It may pay you to go into the Mapping Dept of SLV and have a look at the maps for yourself, a/ they may be clearer and b/ probably have more of Beechworth than I do. I thought I had the town covered but most possibly not. It's fascinating to look at the blocks and see the names on them, that we read about in the papers.     3. Thanks Denise, Robt held quite a bit of land and a couple of houses at the time of his death in 1876 so I'll see if I can hunt down the address. When he died he was living up past the school in Junction Road.
