DEATH OF AN OLD RESIDENT. Mr Henry Doane, who died at Reid's Creek on the 31stult., was a very old residentof the Ovens district, he having arrived in Beechworth about the year 1853, and was actively engaged in mining up to the latter part of last year, principally at the Woolshed and Reid's Creek. Deceased was at the time of his death 63 years fo age and has left a widow and three children He was a native of Connecticut, United States. Cheers Ray.
