Survey Office, Police Office, Barracks, Officers' Quarters and Wardens' and Sheriff's Quarters - wood Hospital - beautifully situated stone building on the banks of Spring Creek capable of holding 7... beds. Since establishment on 11/9/1856 afforded assistance to 1332 in patients and 1510 out patients up to 31/12/1860 Other buildings worthy of mention - Bank of NSW, Victoria and Australasia, - 2 storied of stone stuccoed. Oriental of brick in course of erection Masonic Hall Houses - mainly wooden, 500, exclusive of bark huts and tents about 50 of such gold miners as reside within the Municipal boundary. Commonage - nominal. Reserves - 18 acres for public garden. 62 acres for Public recreation and races two small water reserves recently acquired a reserve of 100 acres for reservoir and 4300 acres for gathering ground in connection therewith without the Municipality Population - Males 1,5 2, Females 814. 730 of whom are Parliamentary and 590 Municipal Electors.
