Hi all Is anyone chasing Fred Herman, a German?? Lived in a tent & eaked out a livelihood by digging on Wheeler's Creek. Died a lonely death near the junction of the Zulu and Wheeler's Creeks in 1895. By the time a Constable was able to reach him it was impossible to go thru the formality of a magisterial inquiry on account of the advanced stage of decomposition of the body, or to convey it to a cemetery on account of the rough track and the distance the body lay from vehicular aid. He was buried on the spot.... Chris
