Young Mummery gave me a lift in the trap into B/worth. I had never seen Mummery before in my life. Anna Maria Gerratty stated - I reside at Gapsted. Saw Kabouski come to Mummery's store at Gapsted. Hear him ask for tobacco which he paid for. Also heard him ask for gin and Mummery told him he had no liquor. He took a cup of water instead. Kabouski appeared to be either drunk or mad.
