Thanks Ronda that would be appreciated. I tend to think Kate was indeed a member of the family. I know there were more Sherry's in the Northeast - e.g. Albury district, but whether they were related I dont know. I have enough TROUBLE finding my own Conway's in Ireland without starting on the family one married into the Sherry's. Still it may be something I can tackle one day. I have noticed the death of a Catherine Sherry years before my Catherine Sherry - both in Beechworth, so chances are reasonable to find family. I have always thought Catherine came to Australia and the Beechworth area because her sister lived there - my great-grandmother - but who knows. Denise, I have some interest in the Conways. John Conway emigrated 1860 from Northern Ireland. He was friends with Edward Maloney. They emigrated together. John Conway married Joanna Leahy. Edward Maloney married Ellen Clancy. Jonn's daughter Mary Conway married Edward's son William Maloney(born 1876 Gisborne)in Corowa NSW. Thats about all I have at the moment on that line.
