Hi Ronda Wish I knew why he was paying Hance that kind of money - it seems an awful lot. Anyway at least that places Hance in the area at that time. By the way, how did you get this info? Old cheque book or some other source of bank transactions? Hi Merren, Joan McKibbin (dec. Nov 2003) gave me William Blewett's bank book a couple of years ago - I am very lucky. The bank book has all the transactions written in by hand 1883 - 1896. It shows where he got out the 3 quid to pay J.H.Meek, the presbyterian minister, when he married Alice Waterson in August 1894.
