undated bewspaper article (late 1960's?) The death occurred on August 14 at his residence in Chiltern of Mr. Irvine Benjamin Hicks, one of the town's well known citizens. Bron 66 years ago he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hicks who owned an hotel at North Prentice near Rutherglen during the years 1893-1903 The deceased married Gladys Jasper and was for many years attached to the Gov.
