The opening of this yesterday was a huge success. And although I didn't get there until 2 hours after the opening, due to a dead car battery (grrrr), I very much enjoyed it once there. Got to speak with Dr Kok Hu Jin who launched his book Chinese Graves in the Beechworth Cemetery . Wonderful book too. Nice feller, has done a book on Yackandandah as well (not yet published) so have sent him what I have on Yack Cemetery Chinese graves. The Centre is a must for any visit to B/worth. It is in the 1850s building originally built to house the Chinese Protector, 2 buildings up from the Court House. Peter R
