Hi All, If anyone has yesterdays Herald Sun newspaper, I am seeking an article about some people who were lost in the High Country and used one of the huts as a refuge. Can someone assist Regards Di
Hi Lady Di, As printed in the Herald Sun, (maybe a few more mistakes). HURT SKIER RESCUED FROM ALPS. An air ambulance landed on Mt Bogong, in Victoria's Alps, yesterday to rescue an injured skier. The Northcote man, 43, who injured his knee about 3pm on Monday, was taken to the Latrobe Regional Hospital at Traralgon in a stable condition. The man's friends had carried him to a hut, where they stayed overnight, before he was flown out. Cheers Ray. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dianne Carroll <highcountryheritage@dodo.com.au> To: <AUS-VIC-HIGH-COUNTRY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 30, 2004 6:58 PM Subject: [HC] Newspaper > Hi All, > If anyone has yesterdays Herald Sun newspaper, I am seeking an article about some people who were lost in the High Country and used one of the huts as a refuge. > > Can someone assist > > Regards Di > >
