    3. Thanks for the replies regarding the James Murray inquest. I have an undated newspaper clipping about his death: On Firday morning Mrs. T.O'Callaghan, Miss D.Piazza and others were coming in to Myrtleford to catch the school excursion train when about two miles on the Myrtleford side of Mudgegonga they came upon an uptrurned drag on the side of the road with Mr. Murray underneath. Both shafts were broken and the horse was standing by. The sufferer was made comfortable with rugs and word was sent to his family. Dr. Cooke was also sent for from Myrtleford. Dr. Cooke attendted to Mr. Murray who was conveyed to his home. His family were in and out of the room and thought he was only sleeping soundly but at 4.30pm it was discovered he had just passed away. Near the spot where Mr. Murray was found there is a cluvert in a bad position, and the horse evidently turning slightly to the side of the road, the wheel had caught the corner of the culvert. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Zola Ortenburg" <zolaortenburg@bigpond.com> To: <AUS-VIC-HIGH-COUNTRY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 13, 2004 7:27 AM Subject: Re: [HC] James Murray Inquest > Ronda, > Found the following: > James W 1902 Nothing > James 1903 Nothing > James 1905 Fatty degeneration Heart > James 1910 Injury received > James 1915 Pneumonia > Francis James 1917 Vehicle injury > James 1927 Falling into creek > > Hope this helps, Zola > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ronda Shambrook" <shambrookdr@dcsi.net.au> > To: <AUS-VIC-HIGH-COUNTRY-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Sunday, September 12, 2004 10:45 PM > Subject: [HC] James Murray Inquest > > > > Hi, > > > > Could some one with the inquest CD please look up James Murray (year range > > 1900 - 1930). > > Thanks, much appreciated. > > > > Ronda > > > > > >
