Well I trotted off to the Museum this afternoon and discussed my suggestion with the Museum Manager. Anna was more supportive of the idea so next week I'll be taking my laptop there to record the names and authors of the family histories they have in their archives. PLEASE NOTE: I will only be recording the names of those histories where a private person has written a family history and lodged a copy with the museum. For example, Joan Pritchard wrote a Pritchard family history, a copy of which she has donated to the museum. Will let you know when list is complete.
