Hi Jackie, It was know as "No good damper" from the "No good damper Inn" so named by Aboriginals in the 1840s as they believed the owner of the Inn had poisoned the flour he gave them. It has been located on the pringvale side of Dandenong by a creek. Charles de Villiers' lived there in 1841 when he was the superintendant of the native Police based as Narre Warren.
