Denise, As far as I am aware there were and are heaps of PRITCHARDS in Beechworth and surrounding areas. My home carer was a PRITCHARD and her mother Joan did a family history a couple of years ago which I think she lodged with the Robert O'Hara Burke Museum. In fact, I've just had a thought - how about I e-mail the museum and ask them to provide me with a list of all the family histories they have on hand and then I could post the list on this e-mailing list. What do you think? Hi Denise I recall seeing other Pritchards in the Beechworth area from time to time when trawling through indexes, but don't think there is any connection to the family of Alex Pritchard (remembering of course that after his uptake with Ellen Jackson, the family expanded considerably). Which Pritchard have you come across?
