Hi List, I am interested in the school, township and bakery at Black Springs (Wang side of Beechworth). In particular, the PRICE family: James PRICE and Harriet (nee DANCE) and their children Harriet, James, Matilda, William Charles Henry and Mary Ann Rebecca. James PRICE had a market garden at Black Springs. William PRICE and his wife Mary Elizabeth (Bessie) nee STOLLARD established the Black Springs bakery, which was operational until 1942 (and still stand today). Harriet PRICE married James McINTOSH (they lived at Yack) James PRICE married Robina FINNIE (they lived at Sheepstation Creek, Beechworth, Olympia & Yack) Matilda PRICE married Claude RONALD (lived lived Koetong Rd. Tallangatta) Charles Henry PRICE married Margaret O'GRADY (lived Three Mile & Red Bluff) Mary Ann Rebecca PRICE died age 4 in 1866. Especially interested in anything about Margaret PRICE, eldest daughter of Charles Henry PRICE and Margaret O'GRADY. Margaret went missig (presumed she met with foul play) from 'The Grange', Everton, late October 1901 and no trace of her was ever found. Love to hear from anyone interested in these people or places. Ronda
