Hi All I would like to make contact with anyone who is researching or knows about John MOORS born 1823, England, possibly Mere, Wiltshire. John MOORS was widowed in 1857 (not confirmed) and married again in Beechworth in May 1862 to Elizabeth STEWART. John MOORS joined the Victorian Police Force in September 1857 and was appointed 2nd Class Sergeant in August 1858. He served in the Beechworth and Mansfield areas and resigned from the police force in 1866. Thanks Anne Hanson
