    3. Hi Everyone, I know Denise is away (and she'd really appreciate this one after all the comments about my O'BRIEN family over the last couple of years) but out of the blue this evening I received a telephone call from the present owner of the property known as Myall Plains (near Berrigan NSW). He was actually responsible for placing a small plaque on the O'BRIEN grave at the local cemetery. A half hour telephone conversation ensued and I have an invitation to visit next time I am in the area. Late in August I visited Berrigan in an effort to find out a little about the O'BRIEN family who had been so elusive for so long and subsequently wrote to the Heritage Society. My letter was passed on to this gentleman, whose family has owned the property since 1925, and who has a full history of the property and surrounding area and settlers. The O'BRIEN's moved to Myall Plains around 1870 (from the Buffalo Heifer Run). They both died in 1907. members of the family owned adjoining land on an adjoining propeorty called Narrow Plains. From what this gentleman said it is pretty obvious that many owners of properties around the area were known to each other or had links from earlier times in NSW history. Interesting stuff. Hope I haven't bored you too much. Cheers, Wendy
