Newspaper expects to see many locals who have got as far as Melbourne returning on 'urgent private domestic affairs" to the northeast! - Many left from Wangaratta for New Zealand. George Harrison returns from England buys Joseph Brown's butchery at Growler's Ck. - The ladies will be racing at Battley Town - Side Saddle for Lady equestrians only. -

Maybe NZ is where I'll find young John MILNE. Does anyone have any ideas about how/where I might be able to get the NZ records searched? One of the later Milne's did go there - but that was towards the end of that century.
