    3. Thanks Denise and Jenny, I'll take your advice "on board". Although I've not sighted the original shipping documentation for the Catteaux Wattel, the Assisted Immigrants are on line and these include my Schubachs. I have from two different sources a notation from the documentation against Heinrich Schubach, that "his mother-in-law, the widow Hoehn, is on board". She would have been 65 and probably came "unassisted". Or perhaps she died on the voyage as did her son-in-law. Haven't been able to find her death in Australia under any of the Hoehn variances.
