    3. But I think we came to the conclusion that it wasn't a Wells that he married, will get back to you ----- Original Message ----- From: Kerry To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, October 27, 2005 7:53 PM Subject: Re: [HC] List your interests - Wells Hi Jackie I have discussed this with Ian Stapleton, who probably wrote one of the books you are referring to. I can't remember now our conclusions, as their were two Wells men married two Ellen Women, Emily Wells I think is the daughter of Fanny Ellen and Frederick Wells, but may have been too young to marry old Billy. I would need to look up my records and notes to refresh my memory. Or get her death certificate. In fact I would have to read it again to refresh this old head, I have too many names in it. In a couple of books I have read it states that after Mother Morrell died Bill Boustead married Emily/Emelah Wells of the Bowman Forest Wells. Do you know if this is so? I believe he married Emily Bayles, nee Wells, who was born in Bedford, England 1817, but don't know the connection with the Bowman Wells. What I know so far; Mary Ann Hogan married William Henry in Eden in 1852. At some stage they moved to Livingstone Creek and William worked as a miner. He was killed in a fall of earth in 1859 - his inquest stated his body was lying at the battery at Dry Gully. Mary Ann remarried Thomas Phelan (registered as Whelan) in 1862, I have found registrations for five children. If anyone has cemetery records I would love to know where Mary Ann, William or Thomas are buried. Regards Debbie -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
