    3. Hi friends. 1861 OMA is finished, and next month I hope to start on 1862. I'll keep a lookout for names again. Tomorrow night I am shutting down the computer until the end of this month. Neil and I, our daughter and her husband, leave home early Tuesday - USA bound, for the wedding of our son and future d-in-law on Friday in New York. A group of about 20 Australians are flying out over the next few days, or have already gone, the bride and groom leave tomorrow. One of the highlights is that in New York some of the American Crawfords who have come to the surface since I started family history asked if they could attend the wedding in New York so will be arriving from their home states. As our son has met most of them, he was thrilled to think they would come. I look forward to seeing them again. We then go to Washington to stay with a Crawford descendant for 4 nights. The newly marrieds will be driving slowly from New York to DC taking in several Civil War sites - a passion of theirs. Our son has ancestors who fought in the Civil War and the Revolution. See what family history does! Then we go to Las Vegas where we will be for several nights attending yet another wedding - of our son (same one) and our, by then, daughter in law. She wanted Central Park in Autumn, he wanted a quick wedding with Elvis and his songs. They didn't want to argue about the venue so decided to do both. We visit the Grand Canyon and various spots in Nevada and Arizona before arriving home end of October. The newly marrieds leave Las Vegas - each on a Harley D - and will ride thru Nevada, Arizona, Utah, taking two weeks, ending in Texas before flying home from New York. When I get to Washington I will have access to a computer so may drop in and say Hi HIGH (g). Denise

    3. Hi Denise, That sounds like a really wonderful trip - and good luck to the soon-to-be-married couple - half their luck. Sounds like they are in for a great time - and you also. We were lucky enough to stay with a cousin in the USA last year (probably second or third cousins both descended from Robert M and found each other on the Internet). I am sure you will have a wonderful time so enjoy it - and take care. Look forward to talking to you upon your return - and hearing some of the 'goss' along the way. Kind regards, Wendy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Denise" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, October 09, 2005 6:55 PM Subject: [HC] USA CHAT > Hi friends. > > 1861 OMA is finished, and next month I hope to start on 1862.
