Hi Ronda/Anthony "Messrs. Blewett and party who were successful in the Warden's Court a few days ago in securing the forfeiture of the Bon Accord have followed up the order of the Warden by paying the £110 compensation allowed to Messrs. Bigelow and party. During the week they pegged out the claim taking out eight men's ground. On Wednesday they made a start, removing the machinery from the Homeward Bound. In regard to the Homeward Bound negotiations are in progress between Mr. C. Hancock and the representative of a London syndicate for the purchase thereof. Some months ago a sale could have been effected but for the machinery, which the syndicate objected to, as it would be comparatively useless to them. As Mr Blewett can find use for the machinery at the Bon Accord the objection will thus be removed." Yack times 11/5/1894. The Wardens Court was held 28/4/1894 at Beechworth - report in Yack Times 4/5/94 - although it is extremely hard to read. Chris
