    3. Thanks Denise, I now have something to offer the list as well as your Coach Rides. I am sure the quality of my gggrandfather's meat products would have been good - ................... The FOSTER family from Coventry had apprenticed their sons as butchers for some generations, and initially after my gggrandfather Wlm. Hy. FOSTER mined in One Mile and Two Mile mines when he first came here, it is interesting he went back to his apprenticeship trade of being a butcher. I did not know he used the name "Henry" instead of "William". I know there has to be a good story in the name Madman's Gully and Devil's Elbow - can anybody help? Thank you, Mary Sent: Saturday, October 01, 2005 10:59 PM Subject: [HC] OMA 3.10.1861 > Henry Foster > BUTCHER > Madman's gully > near the Chinese Camp > BEECHWORTH > Late of Devil's Elbow > Prime Corned Beef and Pickled Tongues always on sale. > - > > >
